Dead Men wins NYIFF Award!

Dead Men won the Award for Best Thriller at the New York international, independent Film Festival. Gunnar Spardel's haunting score helps to develop the films dark atmosphere.

Dead Men in New York!

It is officia! The movie Dead Men is in the selection of the 2009 New York Independent Film Festival. Gunnar made a very suspenseful soundtrack for this thriller! The festival takes place from the 22nd to the 29th of October at the Village East Cinema!

Gunnar is also now listed on the imdb, the largest movie database on the internet.

 

Nominated for JPF Award!

The Tigerforest song "Longing for the Sun" is nominated for a Just Plain Folks Award. Just Plain Folks is a community of over 51,500 Songwriters, Recording Artists and Music Industry Professionals — and host to the world's largest independent music awards. The ceremony will be held on the 29th of August in Nashville / TN. More info will follow.

 

Music for two new short films!

Gunnar is currently working on two short films called "The Vegetable Vengeance" (produced by Alex Dantas) and "Salt of the Earth" (produced by Juan Maestas). More info will follow! Gunnar's imdb profile will be up soon too! Stay tuned!

 

Gunnar scored "Dead Men" - directed by Scott Hansen

The full feature movie will be released soon. So far the critics are going wild on this movie. Watch it on several film festivals or rent it at Blockbuster on DVD!

New Amethyste CD coming soon!

Amethyste's brandnew CD is called Deliverance and is entirely composed and produced by Gunnar Spardel. Amadea Records will release the CD in spring 2009.

Gunnar scored the music for the chinese short film Shengge Nights!

British director Christopher See worked with Gunnar on the music for this film, as well as with r & b newcomer Arjun. The film plays in Shanghai and describes the turn of the generations in the big chinese city.
